16.58 Chevrolet Bel Air
Rare 348 Powered 58 Chevrolet Bel Air in our family since the 70's. This car has 79k original miles, is a 4 door, and is powered by a 348(5.7L) big block along with a 2-speed w/OD Powerglide transmission. This car runs and drives great with no overheating and starts up faster than any other vehicle I own. All original trim intact(the missing piece pictured is in the trunk). The paint and seats are not original as the car was originally gold and white. The floors are soft in spots and need to be replaced but the frame is perfect besides one fist-sized spot on the passenger rear and the body is straight as an arrow. All doors open and close no problem. The trans tunnel is totally solid and so is the firewall. There is also no rust in the rain rails on either side of the roof. The passenger exhaust manifold needs to be replaced or repaired as it has cracked at the end and does not make a good seal with the exhaust pipe, this occurred when replacing the starter and wire harness from it. The engine has all new ignition, rebuilt carb, new water pump, new fuel pump, a brand new complete wiring harness which utilizes all factory colored wires, and is an early 348 which does not have the coolant ports in the head so it uses the shorter spark plugs. The tailshaft seal has been replaced, the driveshaft has been fully rebuilt, the rear end was removed, painted, and received fresh fluid and a new pinion seal. The car also has new shocks and new drums all around as well as having less than 50 miles on the new tires and an almost new battery and starter. I also put a new gas tank/straps and a new fuel pickup in. $9990
